Delete a product metafield in Shopify by using Arigato Automation

Keep your database organized by deleting metafields added to the Shopify database, ensuring a clean and efficient system.

This automation is an on-demand workflow designed to delete metafields permanently from the Shopify database.  It's designed to assist in cleaning up the database with orphaned values or cases where a field name has been renamed, but the meta fields still exist under the wrong key. 

The workflow requires the metafield ID to be added to the Shopify API section. The product ID is loaded from the current product that triggered the workflow. 

ProTip: The process is irreversible, and it's crucial to ensure that the metafield ID is correct and maintain an export for the metafield if there is a possibility of using these values in the future.
