Provide a customized response to customer actions by triggering special emails when they receive a tag, whether for repetitive messages or special discounts, enhancing customer satisfaction and communication.
This workflow fires when a customer is updated. It first checks to see that the customer has the special tag you set. If the tag is found, it then checks to see if the message has been sent before. If it hasn't it sends the message and adds a metafield to the customer to indicate that the customer has been emailed the special message.
The automation is configurable, so you can set what tag to listen for, and exactly what the email is that you send. Alternatively, you could repurpose this idea by sending an email when an order is tagged, instead of the customer, or by changing the action to send a text message instead of an email.
