Optimize your Shopify store by efficiently identifying and managing "serial returners" through this workflow, providing a quick and effective solution for flagging and addressing potential issues.
This workflow fires when a refund is created. It updates a metafield value to track how many refunds the customer has initiated. If the customer has asked for 4 or more refunds, the automation flags the customer as "serial returner" as a tag on the customer.
You may want to combine this with other automations such as creating a Trello card when a customer is flagged, or sending an email when they're flagged. Additionally, you could track the customer's IP address and automatically cancel orders from their IP address, or add the customer to a special spreadsheet in Google Sheets using some of our other pre-built workflows in our library.
