Tag every customer by email domain upon order placement in Shopify by using Arigato Automation
Achieve organized customer segmentation by effortlessly grouping customers based on their email domains.
This simple automation triggers when an order is created. It first checks to see if the customer has already been tagged for this purpose. If they haven't been tagged, it parses the email address for the order and tags the customer with their domain. For example, let's say you want to pay close attention to customers from a variety of domains, like apple.com and microsoft.com. When steve@apple.com places an order, he'll get tagged with apple.com.
