Tag product "restocked" when restocke and remove tag later in Shopify by using Arigato Automation
Add a restocked tag to items, automatically removing it after a predefined period, facilitating inventory tracking.
This automation is fired every time a product is updated. It checks if the product was previously out of stock and if the current stock level is above zero. If the product is in stock, the workflow adds a "restocked" tag, waits for two weeks then removes the tag once more.
Stores use the workflow to market and create customer awareness for products that have been restocked. The implementation is also essential in filtering and segmenting items based on their last stock update date from the Shopify dashboard.
