This automation fires up when you update a draft order. The app will then get all the metafield values from the draft order and update the related sales order with the values. This automation is very helpful in cases when the operational workflow for the stores involves working with draft orders and quotations. Any change done on the quotation once an order is created, is also translated to a sales order metafield.
This example, can be used in cases when the products sold have custom requirements and description such as designs and colors for branding related orders. If there are changes done to the draft order on the customer requirement, the same information will also be automatically added to the sales order for processing, as long the information is saved using a draft order metafield.
