Tag orders by country in Shopify by using Arigato Automation

Identify and organize the countries of origin for your orders to enhance geographical insights.

This workflow fires when an order gets paid in your Shopify store. It then uses the token system in the app to transfer the Shipping Address Country from the address data into a tag on the order. Other tags based on address data can also be added using the token browser.

This workflow can be adjusted to run on-demand as well, so you can tag all existing orders in your store in this manner.
