Strip links from description and store in a metafield for eBay listing in Shopify by using Arigato Automation

Remove links from product descriptions and save values in metafields for eBay listings.

This automation is fired up every time a product is created or updated. The automation checks and removes any links from the product description then save the modified value as a metafield value.

Once the value has been saved, the value can be fetched and used to update the eBay listing description or any other service where the store displays its items.

The workflow can be extended to include other product values saved as metafield values such as the product SKU, handle, etc.
