Change order fulfillment location based on tags in Shopify by using Arigato Automation
Switch order locations based on predefined tags, enabling efficient order movement and fulfillment.
This automation is fired when an order is created. Based on the tags found on the order, the workflow changes the assigned location for the fulfillment to a pre-defined location.
This workflow is widely used to change the fulfillment location for special orders, such as orders made from a specific region or orders to be prepared for pickup from a specific station. The workflow can then adjust the order to be fulfilled at a location near the region or the picking station.
Pro tip: To get accurate results, your tagging mechanism must be correctly configured such that each tag would refresh a specific set of the order delivery condition, such as 'outside US' for orders with a country code outside the united states and 'pickup' for orders with a pickup point as the delivery address
